OUR TEAM

  • Andres Roberts

    FOUNDER

Andres has worked for 20 years with themes of wholeness, systems-change, responsibility and connection across many areas of life and work. He leads work with organisations such as Patagonia, Natura & Co, Aviva Investors and more. He was a catalyst and is now a project lead for the Earth Funding Lab - an initiative helping funders collaborate towards ‘Economies in Service to Life’. He has helped initiate programmes such as ‘OD For Life,’ helping consultants act to care for the planet. Most deeply, he is a Nature Quest guide - helping people reconnect and transform through profound immersions in nature. His favourite place in nature is in the sea and in Welsh mountains. He loves being a husband and Dad, remembering his Colombian roots, and watching Everton Football Club.

  • Ella Wiles

    DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE

Bringing a sense of care and consideration to people and projects, Ella has been an integral part of the Fellowship's growth since its inception. After meeting Andres and sharing a walk, they found resonance with the desire to create new forms of nature-led leadership. Five years on and acting with curiosity and openness, this work is still expanding and developing today.

Outside of Bio-Leadership, you can find Ella running along the coastlines of the South-West, where she is at her happiest.

  • Javier Gras

    ORGANISATIONAL OUTREACH & IMPACT LEAD

Javi is a 2021 Fellow and joined the core team in 2022. He leads on the development of new impactful initiatives and relationships collaborating with businesses and projects that want to become regenerative in their approach. Recognising the power of collaboration, he believes that collective innovation and shared learning are essential in fostering the change we seek in the world.

His favourite place in nature is a small seaside natural pool in the Mediterranean sea of Almeria, Spain. Here, he says, the dynamics of life are continuously being shared, you can notice them just by being there in silence.

  • Din van Helden

    FELLOWSHIP DESIGN LEAD & HOST

Din has been learning, co-designing, facilitating and consulting for the last 20 years in the field of Organisatonal Development. She helps individuals and teams to grow in more vital ways, through a focus on authentic connection to self, to others and the wider natural environment. Her work is rooted in organisational learning, nature-connection, and the well-being of healthy systems.

Understanding that nature is at the heart of transformative change and having studied with respected elders such as John P. Milton, Din leads profound Nature Quests in Austria, which she currently calls home.

  • Sharmishtha Dattagupta

    FELLOWSHIP DESIGN LEAD & HOST

Based in India, Sharmishtha is a valued coach who plays a pivotal role in programme design for the Fellowship.

Her deep-rooted connection with nature, nurtured since childhood, has fostered a profound commitment to working for the betterment of our environment in various capacities.

Specialising in helping individuals from diverse backgrounds unleash their authenticity, discover balance, and channel their creativity towards meaningful contributions to social and environmental causes, Sharmishtha is a great point of call if you are interested in receiving coaching.

  • Jamie Pike

    FELLOWSHIP HOST

Jamie’s passion is in helping good things grow, making him an exceptional coach. He loves facilitating game changing ideas into becoming reality, especially when the purpose behind them is in service to life in some way. The greatest gift that he offers is creating and holding spaces that nurture personal and collective transformation.

Over the years Jaime has co-founded a number of food and community based businesses and actively supports the growth of a number of organisations working in health, nature leadership and systems change. His special interests include: nature connection, regenerative systems, entrepreneurship, mentoring, local food systems, experience design, movement and drama therapy, VR, and Psychedelic group work.

  • Tom Mansfield

    ALUMNI & MYCELIUM PROGRAMME LEAD

Tom is a 2022 Bio-leadership Fellow and now leads in creating moments where all cohorts come together to connect, learn and collaborate. He achieves this through the facilitation of peer-led workshops as well as inviting guest speakers to discuss special topics.

His favourite place in nature is the woods of Exmoor in southwest England. For him, these ancient oak forests still hold a special magic. He loves the Bio-Leadership community for putting 'relationships first' and co-weaving a rich fabric of resilient, regenerative connections - not unlike the trees themselves.

“Going through the Fellowship immediately felt like coming home; I had to stay and get involved in gardening the ecosystem.”

  • Carol Freitas

    FELLOWSHIP DESIGN

With a passion for education, Carol actively contributes to the Fellowship programme’s design, ensuring all participants have a transformative learning experience. She has led sessions focused on manifesting and design, guiding fellows to harness their creative potential and align it with regenerative principles. She is also responsible for the ‘journal’ the Fellows receive during their programme journey.

Her expertise as a Biomimetic designer have taken her on exciting journeys to various biomes worldwide, where she has deepened her understanding of how humans can learn from and emulate nature through the lens of Biomimicry.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Carol finds joy in the arts, food, and the natural world - particularly when these realms intertwine.

  • Christina Williams

    COMMUNICATIONS LEAD & FELLOWSHIP HOST

Christina became a Bio-Leadership Fellow in 2023 and joined the core team in 2024. She began as communications & storytelling lead and expanded her role in 2025 to support the running of the Fellowship programme.

Christina is passionate about bringing things to life through careful planning, compelling storytelling, and deep connection with nature. She is especially excited about experience design and creating programmes and learning experiences that inspire people. She also trained as a nature facilitator and loves working with groups outdoors.

Outside of Bio-Leadership, you’ll either find Christina in the kitchen cooking something unreasonably complicated, or frolicking in the outdoors with her dog.
