The Bio-Leadership Project is designed to work like nature, like an ecosystem supporting other parts of the community to develop extraordinary things.
We believe this is important because the way we work in our human systems represents the future we will grow.
In a world facing vast and complex challenges, we ourselves must demonstrate a way of working that reconnects as a whole.
We support the ecosystem in three ways:

A journey helping people from across the world address challenges and explore systems inquiries by working with nature.

A team supporting organisations to grow stories fit for the future through dedicated learning and organisational change programmes.

Bio-Leadership…
It looks at things as living systems.

It gives space to be human - to feel all of the tensions and emotions of the messy and urgent times we live in.
It values spacious qualities, vulnerability and inquiry.
It knows autumn and winter are just as important as spring and summer.
It uses inquiry and experimentation as tools for complexity.
It is revolutionary.
It looks to lessons and ideas from across time and cultures.
It recognises that life is a miracle, something to take care of, for ourselves and many others.
We support organisations who are changing the story of leadership, including Patagonia, the World Benchmarking Alliance, Amani Institute, the Barbican, Better Food, and others.

We’re in the process of setting up a global cooperative of Bio-Leadership aligned companies all working towards better forms of human progress by working with nature.

BIO-LEADERSHIP SYSTEM PROJECTS
Over the past five years, we’ve helped initiate several systems projects in different sectors to help new forms of Earth-centred progress grow.
OD FOR LIFE
In 2020 and 2021, we helped initiate an inquiry around how to bring nature-led principles into the organisational development space. OD for Life was born out of this project and is now a thriving collective of OD practitioners across the globe.
THE EARTH FUNDING LAB
In 2024, we partnered with the Environmental Funders Network to develop the Earth Funding Lab — a place for philanthropic funders to connect, develop new forms of strategy, and work towards greater impact together.
